Is this the first time you've heard the name TUNED Rigs & Ropes? Chances are your already know the face of rigger Vester Knibbe.

Since 1993 he worked as a rigger at various well known companies in Flevoland and North Holland, where he specialised in rigging (luxury) cruising and racing yachts from 20 to 100 feet in length. From 200 to 2004 Vester led a rigging loft in Medemblik where many yachts are prepared for long offshore voyages.

1993 to 1996

Worked as a rigger at Flevo Marina in Lelystad. Work involved berthing and minor repairs.

1996 tot 1998

Worked as rigger at Verheij Rigging in Medemblik. Work involved major repairs, new rigs and super yachts. Specialised in assembly of high tech ropes and rod rigging.

Apart from normal yachts, a great deal of work was done for super yachts from the wharfs Jongert, Holland Jachtbouw and Truly Classic.

1998 tot 2004

Worked as rigger for Medemblik Yacht Service in Medemblik. Aimed at lare scale repairs, new rigs and refits. Seldén specialist. Specialised in advice and kitting out yachts for long (round the world) voyages, heavy weather and storm rigging and the improvement of sailing performance.

From 2000 he led the rigging loft, where 4 to 6 riggers regularly worked on a variety of projects. Besides work for private individuals, he also took care of the work under guarantee for the renowned boat builder Conyplex (Contest Yachts) and the entire rigs for the Hans Christian Yachts imported by boat and mold builder Van Noort Besides this he was a dealer for sails and spray hoods for "De Vries Sails".
