A well considered deck layout is essential for optimal comfort and improved sailing properties. TUNED advises about and delivers deck hardware according to you needs. We deliver winches, clutches, blocks and rails by a variety manufacturers. Prior to assembly, an assessment is made of the structural strength of the area and if necessary reinforcements are placed.

We supply Andersen, Lewmar and Harken winches. These makes are comparable in quality and each has its own advantage. All winches can be delivered for manual, electronic and hydraulic use. Lewmar and Harken also have a line of racing winches with Carbon drums, which can be combined with coffee grinders.

We generally use Spinlock rope clutches. For racing boats we use the ZS serie, suitable for very high loads and available in carbon if required.

Blocks and rails are by Lewmar, Harken and Frederiksen. All blocks are available with bearings. This can mean ease of use for cruisers, resulting in lighter handling of sheets and halyards, something which is essential for racers. All three makes have light weight blocks. Main and fore triangle traveller systems can be constructed to meet your needs, this can be a simple system with a traveller car, a system with combined cars or even 'intelligent' cars. The positioning of the rails can be determined together with the sailmaker.
